Budgetly provides both plastic and virtual cards. What's the difference?
The 2 types of cards:
- Plastic cards are physical and lives in your pocket. They are a necessity of you travel outside Australia.
- Virtual cards are non physical, they can live in your mobile phone (ex: AppleWallet on your iPhone), or they can live within Budgetly Desktop app to help Finance teams to manage subscriptions.
Benefits of virtual card?
- Virtual cards are available instantly. Plastic card need to be sent by post which can take up to 5 days.
- Virtual cards can be generated for single use purpose. It will increase security for online purchase on websites you don't trust.
Do I need to choose between Virtual or Plastic?
No you don't, you can have an unlimited number of plastic and/or virtual cards.
