How to upload a receipt
- Open the Budgetly app and tap Transactions.
- Select the transaction.
- Tap Add Receipt.
- Choose Take a Photo to capture the receipt, or Upload from Gallery to select an existing image.
- Confirm and wait for the upload to complete.

Common questions
Does Budgetly extract GST from my receipt?
On Premium plans, yes — GST is extracted automatically. On Essentials, add it manually. See How to add GST to a transaction.
Can I upload a receipt from the desktop?
Yes. Open the transaction on budgetly.io and upload the receipt from the edit form.
What if I forgot to get a receipt?
An admin can mark the transaction as “Receipt not needed” from the transaction edit form.
