Budgetly automatically alerts you when your physical card is approaching its expiry date, giving you time to confirm your delivery address and receive a replacement.
When you’ll see the alert
An alert appears on your card’s detail page 45 days before the expiry date. The alert reads:
Card expires [month year]. Confirm your delivery address to receive your new card in time.
How to renew your card
- Click Cards in the sidebar and select the card showing the expiry alert.
- Click Confirm address on the alert banner.
- Review or update your delivery address in the dialog that appears.
- Confirm to request your replacement card.

After renewal
- Your card status changes to Renewed.
- You can keep using your current card until the expiry month.
- A message on the card detail page confirms: “Your new card is on the way.”
- Once your new card arrives, activate it to start using it.
