Settings is a menu at the bottom of the sidebar. It groups everything related to your company configuration, user management, and personal profile in one place.
1. How Settings is organised
Open Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. Items are grouped by what they do:
| Group | Items | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| People | My profile · Users | Everyone sees My profile; only Admins see Users |
| Company | Company · Plan & billing | Admins only |
| Configuration | Categories · Xero · Tags | Admins only |
| Session | Logout | Everyone |
If you don’t manage company settings, you’ll only see My profile and Logout.
Tip: For a full overview of what moved, see Navigating Budgetly.
2. Manage your profile
Update your personal details, notification preferences, and security settings from My profile.
