The My profile page lets you manage your personal details, preferences, notifications, and security settings.

How to access your profile
- Click My profile in the sidebar.
Profile tab
- Navigate to the Profile tab.
- Update your First name, Last name, Email, or Mobile number.
- Click Save.
Preferences tab
- Select the Preferences tab.
- Adjust your personal preferences.
- Click Save.
Notifications tab
The Notifications tab lets you control which notifications you receive and how. Notifications are grouped by importance — some can be turned off, others are always on.

- Navigate to the Notifications tab.
- Toggle Email, Inbox, or Push on or off for each importance level.
Note: Critical notifications cannot be turned off — they cover fraud, security, and payment issues that need immediate attention.
Security tab
The Security tab lets you manage your MFA settings.
- Select the Security tab.
- Follow the prompts to configure multi-factor authentication via authenticator app or SMS.

Resetting your password
You cannot change your password from within Budgetly. To reset your password:
- Go to budgetly.io/login.
- Enter your email address and click Continue.
- Click the Reset password link above the password field.
- Follow the instructions sent to your email.
Note: Admins can trigger a password reset for another user by going to the user’s detail page, clicking the ⋮ menu (top right), and selecting Reset password. The user receives a reset link via email.
