How to manage money requests

When a user needs more funds than their budget allows, they can submit a money request. Admins and budget owners are notified and can approve or decline it.

Tip: If you see “Not allowed to approve”, the request would increase the budget’s available balance. Only an admin can approve it.

    • Alternatively, click the Open Budgetly link in the notification email.
  • Select the money request to review.

  • Click Approve or Decline.

The user receives a notification with the outcome.

How notifications work

When a money request is submitted:

  • If no owner or admin is assigned, all admins are notified.
  • Notifications appear in the inbox and via email.
