When a user needs more funds than their budget allows, they can submit a money request. Admins and budget owners are notified and can approve or decline it.
Who can approve money requests
| Scenario | Who can approve |
|---|---|
| Budget has no user limits | Admin only — all requests increase the budget’s available balance |
| Budget has individual limits — request stays within available balance | Admin or budget owner |
| Budget has individual limits — request exceeds available balance | Admin only |
Tip: If you see “Not allowed to approve”, the request would increase the budget’s available balance. Only an admin can approve it.
