The Inbox page shows all notifications sent to you within Budgetly — transaction alerts, approval requests, system messages, and more.

Accessing your inbox
- Click Inbox in the sidebar.
At the top of the page, three summary cards show your Unread, Read, and All notification counts. Click any card to filter the list.
Filtering notifications
Use the filters below the summary cards to find specific messages:
- Search — type keywords to search across notifications.
- Type — filter by notification category (e.g. transaction alerts, approval requests).
- Status — filter by read or unread.
- Click Clear filters to reset all filters.
Tip: Use Mark all as read or Mark all as unread on the right to manage notifications in bulk.

Can I turn off specific notification types?
Notification preferences are managed per user by an admin. See How to manage user preferences for details.
How far back do inbox notifications go?
The inbox retains notifications for the life of your account. Use the search and filters to find older messages.
Do I get push notifications on my phone as well?
Yes, if push notifications are enabled for your account. The inbox shows the same notifications in one place for reference.
