The inbox delivers in-app alerts for things that need your attention — receipt reminders, money requests, approval updates, and more. Push notifications follow up on mobile when something is urgent.
What you’ll see in the inbox

All messages have a 45-day expiry and are automatically removed after that.
Accessing the inbox
Click Inbox in the sidebar. The inbox shows a table of all your notifications with columns for:
- Date — when the notification was sent.
- Type — the notification category (e.g. receipt reminder, money request).
- From — who or what triggered the notification.
- Title — a brief summary.
- Message — the full notification content.
Filtering and searching
Use the filters above the notification list to find specific messages:
- Search — type keywords to search across titles and content.
- Notification type — filter by category.
- Status — filter by read or unread.
- Click Clear filters to reset.
Message types

Message lifecycle
- Unread — default state for new messages. Shows an orange dot indicator. Automatically marked as read when you click the primary CTA or manually mark as read.
- Read — shown in the Read tab. Can be marked as unread again.
- Expired — automatically removed 45 days after creation.
Timestamp display
- Last 7 days: relative time (e.g. “3 minutes ago”, “2 hours ago”).
- Older than 7 days: date format (e.g. “10 May”, “14 Jun”).
