Admins and budget owners can edit any budget setting at any time — name, limit, cycle, members, and limits.

How to edit a budget
- Click Budgets in the sidebar.
- Find the budget you want to change — browse the list or use the search bar.
- Select the budget name to open it.
- Click Edit Budget in the top right.
- Make your changes.
- Click Update details to save.

Common questions
Can I change the cycle on an active budget?
Yes. Changing the cycle takes effect at the start of the next period. The current cycle completes as normal.
What happens to transactions if I remove a user from a budget?
Existing transactions stay on the budget. The user simply can’t make new purchases from it.
Can a budget owner edit the budget?
Yes. Budget owners can edit the budget and see all transactions within it, just like an admin.
