You can upgrade your Budgetly plan or switch between monthly and annual billing from the Billing page.

How to view your current plan
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Select Billing.
- The Current plan section shows your plan name, price per month, cards included, cards issued, and next invoice date.
How to upgrade your plan
- Navigate to the Billing page and scroll to the Upgrade plan section.
- Toggle between annual and monthly to compare pricing.
- Click Upgrade next to the plan you want.
- Follow the prompts to confirm the change.
Tip: Click Compare plans to see a full feature comparison on the Budgetly website.
Managing billing details
- Click Manage billing at the top right of the Billing page to open the Stripe billing portal.
- From there you can update your payment method, view invoices, and manage your subscription.
Common questions
Can I downgrade my plan?
Yes. Follow the same steps — the Upgrade plan section shows all available plans, including lower tiers. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Will I lose features if I downgrade?
Yes. Premium features like tags, GST extraction, Buddy AI, and custom budget cycles are disabled on Essentials. Your data is preserved but those features become inaccessible.
Can I switch from monthly to annual billing?
Yes. Use the annual/monthly toggle on the Billing page. Switching to annual saves up to $2,400 per year.
