What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
MFA adds a second verification step when you log in — your password plus a code from SMS or an authenticator app. It makes it much harder for unauthorised access.
Am I required to set up MFA?
MFA is mandatory for admins. It’s optional for regular users unless your company enforces it.
What MFA methods are available?
Two: SMS (receive a code via text) or an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Duo Mobile, etc.).
How do I set up MFA?
Go to My profile > Security > Set up MFA and choose SMS or Authenticator app. See How to set up MFA for step-by-step instructions.
How does MFA work when I log in?
After entering your password, you’ll be prompted for a 6-digit code from your SMS or authenticator app. See How to log in with MFA.
I lost access to my authenticator app. Can MFA be reset?
Yes. An admin can disable MFA from your user detail page, or contact support to have it reset. You’ll need to set it up again once reset.
