Where can I find my association number?

Associations such as charities, non-for-profits and sport entities are required to provide their association number.

You can find your association number via either of the below websites:

  1. ASIC Connect website.
    Follow the steps to find it here.
  2. ACNC Charity Register.
    Follow the steps to find it here.

ASIC Connect

Part 1

  1. Go to the ASIC website
  2. Under 'Search within', select "Organisation & Business Names"
  3. Enter your organisation name.
  4. Click 'Go'.

Part 2

  1. Verify the status is registered
  2. Your association number will be displayed with the state code.
    For example: VIC A123456789
  3. Copy your association number without the state code
    For example: A123456789
  4. Provide your association number to Budgetly.

The ACNC Charity Register

Step 1

Navigate to the ACNC Charity Register via the ACNC website.

Step 2

Search for your charity via name, ABN and/or location.

Step 3

Select your charity from the results.

Step 4

Navigate to the 'financial & documents' tab and find an annual information statement.
