How to update your card PIN

For certain purchases, a 4-digit PIN may be necessary. This article will guide you through the process of setting or updating your PIN.

Note: Virtual cards do not need a PIN for transactions. If you encounter a prompt for a PIN while making a purchase, just press the enter button on the payment terminal to proceed.

 


How to set or change a PIN

Log in to the Budgetly mobile app (if you haven't installed the app yet, click here to learn more.

  1. Tap the Cards section.
  2. Swipe to the physical card if you have more than 1.
  3. Tap Change PIN.
  4. Enter your preferred 4-digit PIN and tap the Change PIN button.

Important: If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times, your card will be temporarily blocked for a period of 24 hours. During this time, you will not be able to use the card or reset your PIN until the 24-hour duration has elapsed.
