Select the right cycle for your Budget
When creating a new Budget, you will be required to set a cycle:
ONE-TIME
- Select this option for non-recurring budget. Members can spend the amount until there is no money left.
- A one-time budget can be topped up manually by a company Admin but will not repeat, or reset itself.
- Example: Budget for a conference mid June. The team members can spend from April to June up to $10k.
- Unspent money stays on your main Budgetly account and can be set by admin toward other budgets.
RECURRING MONTHLY
- Select this option for team, staff or subscription budgets.
- Members can spend the amount every month.
- The amount will reset on the 1st each month, with any unspent amount forfeited by the members.
- Unspent money stays on your main Budgetly account and can be set by admin toward other budgets.
- Example: Budget for sales team to visit clients.
- Budget can start and ends any given month, or leave the dates empty for never ending budget (not recommended).
